JCCS Academic Language Assessment Week 5

Vaccinations should not be required for all students. Parents should have the choice to have the doctor give their children vaccinations .They should not be required because children could be allergic to some ingredients in the vaccinations and illustrate serious symptoms that can be life threatening. It is ESTIMATED that vaccines can be linked to autism, a serious medical disorder of the brain. The vaccines  could be against religious beliefs depending on the belief , an example would be the  Jehovah’s Witnesses. They could traumatize a child or create a phobia of shots or anything with needles which is not POSITIVE for the child or adults they work with. Therefore vaccinations should  not be required.

JCCS Academic Language Assessment Week 4

  • .
I believe that the pressure of teen sports has gone too far . Some of the coaches and the parents have became to competitive when it comes to sports. They just forget about the teens and only they only think about the SIGNIFICANCE of winning and put the kids under too much pressure . Some athletes go as far as start taking steroids to become better, hoping to be more likely to win,and for their parents or coach to IDENTIFY their skills. They even start to CONSTRUCT depression and other issues because of the pressure the adults are giving . Sometimes it affects relationships with friends and family. I think that sports aren't about winning but about having fun. Now days the pressure of teen sports has gone too far.

JCCS Academic Language Assessment Week 3

Yes Parents should have to regulate their teen’s diet and exercise to prevent obesity. Parents should FOCUS on their teens diet so that they are healthier  and there are less health problems in the teen.I think so,because then they will do it for themselves when they get older. But not so much to where it is stressing them.I think that it is good idea  to keep them healthy. Not only for the idea of obesity but just to stay healthy, and let them regulate for themselves. Parents should make a Menu each week that CONSIST of healthy foods and correct proportion sizes. Yes parents should APPROPRIATELY regulate their teens diet and exercise so they do not become obese.
