JCCS Academic Language Assessment Week 31 - Vandalism
Should parents be held accountable for their child's damage?
No, parents should not be accountable for their childs damage, the child should be responsible for what they have done. For an exaple, if there is a specfic damage that is not that bad the student should take care of it and pay for it because they are the reason that it got ruined. Also if it gets out of hand and it keeps on happening the court could start computing things for the kids to do so that they will not get into bigger trouble. By doing this students can Achieve there goals they have been and stop doing bad things such as vandalism. The students need to learn responsibility and pay for what they damaged, instead of the parents paying for, and the students getting away with it.

JCCS Academic Language Assessment Week 29 - School Conferences
Should parents face jail time for missing their child's school conferences?
Parents should not have to face jail time if they miss their child's school conference. One reason is because not all parents have the RESOURCES to get to their child's school. In addition parents have the oppourtunity to SEEK teachers in other ways than through a conference such as email, or telephone calls. Lastly, some students are TRANSFERRED to far away schools and that makes it more difficult for parents to attend. Overall, parents should not have to face jail time if they miss their child's school conference due to busy schedules.
